Waves of Three

Lyrics By: Erik Libbert Music By: Chad Hamlin & Erik Libbert An epidemic spreads across the land, As young lives are cut short: Ended by their own hands. Teased, bullied, and stripped of self-esteem, Futures stolen, black shadows eclipsing their dreams. Taunting Teasing Mockery Their suffering comes in waves of three There’s so much hatred in the world today. Kids grow up with it, they see it and think it’s O.K. This vicious cycle feeds itself, unchecked. In it’s wake the countless victims whose lives Have been wrecked. I used to think that that’s just the way it goes, ‘til the day it claimed somebody that I had known. Under the surface and buried very deep, Lies the secret that she will eternally keep. Her pain is terminal; a black malignancy, Surfacing dark blossoms of tragedy. Rejection Torment Cruelty Her suffering comes in waves of three First comes exclusion, and as she’s singled out, Confidence fades, leaving behind only doubt. Withdrawal is next. Shutting down, she closes off. As she does, the innocence of her childhood is lost. Depression leads to the last stop: Black Despair. Trigger pulled, she sought a new beginning there. The shattered family mourns her suicide, And the vacancy that it has left in their lives. A broken mother feels herself go numb, As she realizes her only daughter is gone. Pain Sorrow Misery Her suffering comes in waves of three First comes Denial, from the truth she hides. Hurts so bad that she would rather believe in the lies. Guilt is next, and the certainty she’s to blame, As her mirror stares back at her Through eyes of hate. Depression leads to the last stop: Black Despair. Is this the end or a new beginning for her?

In My Veins 04:32
Lyrics By: Chad Hamlin Music By: Chad Hamlin & Erik Libbert Where did the silver snake take you? Why did you let that book deceive you? Formaldehyde in my veins Bleed me dry Formaldehyde in my veins Buried alive Formaldehyde To far away from reality Go beyond the senses Your body and mind Go beyond the senses Transcend space and time I’ve got a piece of you You’ve got a piece of me too Get a little, got a little, did a little too Got a lotta, get a lotta, how about you? Get a little, got a little, did a little too Got a lotta, get a lotta, how about you? Got a little had a lotta, not a lotta new Get a little, had a little, got piece of you Got a little had a lotta, not a lotta new Get a little, got a little piece of you Formaldehyde in my veins Bleed me dry Formaldehyde in my veins Buried alive Formaldehyde To far away from reality Go beyond the senses Your body and mind Go beyond the senses Transcend space and time Transcending from the mind Transcending space and time

Lyrics By: Erik Libbert Music By: Chad Hamlin & Erik Libbert There were no sounding horns to signal Armageddon, I was told of its arrival by the voice inside my head. As Judgment Day approached, that voice was joined by others, And I remember just what they said. They said: “Our name is Legion, for we are many, an Army of the Damned. You have been chosen as the Dark Messiah, the Conqueror of Man.” At first, I thought I’d lost my mind, slipped from unstable to insane. But they said my legacy had been foretold, my future pre-ordained. As I grasped the meaning of their message, I felt the weight of what they’d said. A heavy burden the Crown of Thorns can be To the Monarch of the Dead. Jesus, They call him Black-Face-Jesus They call him Black-Face They call him Black-Face They call him Black-Face-Jesus They call him Black-Face They call him With the Apocalypse impending, a sense of purpose filled my mind. I decided to accept my fate, to become the Prince of Lies. But before I could embrace this role, And claim my rightful throne in Hell, I’d need to find a way to escape the confines Of my padded cell. That night I skipped my medication. In my bed, I laid in wait. When the nurse came in to check on me, She paid the price for this mistake. As the light faded from her eyes, I escaped into the night. The war for Mankind’s souls was underway, And I was ready for the fight. Jesus, They call him Black-Face-Jesus They call him Black-Face They call him Black-Face They call him Black-Face-Jesus They call him Black-Face They call him

Lyrics By: Erik Libbert Music By: Erik Libbert & Chad Hamlin The first time I laid eyes on you I knew right from the start You and I we were meant to be together; Two souls that shared a heart. But then as I approached you, your eyes widened in alarm. I wrapped my hands around your throat to stop the screams, I never meant you harm. I pulled you close to comfort you, But you struggled to get away, And when you sank your teeth into me. I bit back with the blade. I’ve got to get you out of my system The next time that I saw your face, I felt my spirits rise. You were all alone, across the moonlit street, and I saw heaven in your eyes. But the tragic ending to our last encounter Was still fresh in my mind, So I turned my mistakes into lessons learned, And I approached you from behind. I stayed in the shadows and kept my distance; I sat for hours outside your home. And when you finally turned the lights out, I slipped into your room. I’ve got to get you out of my system I tried so hard to get over you, but I saw you almost every day. A thousand times we started over, Yet the ending never changed. We’d meet by chance and fall in love, Our storybook ending unfulfilled. Your denial of my love for you Always seemed to get you killed. But the love we share won’t be denied. No, you and I were meant to be. Not even death can break the bonds we share; We’ll be together for eternity. I’ve got to get you out of my system By the time police caught up to me, “The most prolific killer of all time,” I’d cut your life short 98 times and I was working on 99. They said it was pure luck that put an ending to my spree, But I won’t stop until you’re mine for good, So come meet your destiny. I’ve got to get you out of my system I’m moving on.
